chalklinechickadeeWith the debacle happening over at tumblr, I'm looking for a new hub. I've always been roughly 97% safe for work. I'm not sure exactly what I'll be posting here at dreamwidth yet, as I'm still figuring out how to use it. However...
I'm an introvert, I'm an adult, and I have a day job. I don't always have the energy for social interaction. I tend to be quiet. I'm all for for fandom and creative communities that are supportive but not demanding.
I write original fic, but I tend to keep it quiet. Love fanfic, just haven't written much—like, maybe 3 drabbles that I kept to myself. I kind of want to change that, though. I might track the status of my stories and/or share anything I've come up with that helps me write. (If you do NaNoWriMo, this is me, silverwings007.)
I draw. I might discuss projects I'm working on, and I'll probably crosspost my art from: tumblr, twitter, instagram, and deviantart.
I play games. I love games. Mostly video games, but I also play D&D with my folks. (Hold onto your socks—we play 1st edition. I understand thAC0 and nothing else.) With video games, I mostly play single player, but I play OverWatch pretty regularly (mainly as support heroes) and recently got Monster Hunter (I have a cat, and that's all I care to know). (If you're on PS4, my gamertag is WelkinWight. Be forewarned, I know what I'm doing in these games approximately 7% of the time. The other 93% is sheer happenstance.)
And, of course, I've got a lot of movies, tv shows, and books that I adore. I'll probably talk about those. I have ZERO problem thinking and talking critically of the things I adore. I tend to gush more than salt, but I do both!

Some media I love(d) where I'm not an active fandom participant: Okami, Final Fantasy XV, Horizon Zero Dawn, Merlin, Lord of the Rings, Voltron Legendary Defender, Star Wars, Star Trek
